The Isuzu D-Max has undergone a refresh for 2023, with some visual revamps across the range. It’s all cosmetic, with technical and mechanical elements remaining untouched.
The most notable changes are that all models across the D-Max range have been enhanced with a redesigned front grille, creating a bold new look. There are new wheels too, but only the All-Purpose and Adventure models will see this particular change. The Business range of pickups retains the practical and durable steel wheels that have become a staple of the Isuzu D-Max Utility models.
In addition to the revised front grille and wheel designs, two new colours have been introduced. Dolomite White replaces Pearl White, while metallic Biarritz Blue replaces the Sapphire Blue shade. The Biarritz Blue colour will be available for both the DL40 and V-Cross models, while the Dolomite White pearlescent will be exclusive to the top-of-the-range V-Cross.
There are some changes to the interior upholstery as well. The Business range models remain unchanged, retaining the hard-wearing cloth interior, but the Isuzu D-Max DL20 seats have taken a step up to a more premium woven fabric which sports a refreshed design. Further up the range, the DL40 and V-Cross have both been upgraded with newly designed leather upholstery featuring horizontal layering, creating a more spacious feel in the cabin.
The 2022 D-Max pickup saw the introduction of an optional rear-differential lock, and the 2023 refresh sees this continue to be an option for all manual 4x4 Utility models in the range.
Isuzu UK Managing Director Alan Able:
“As a brand, we are always striving for improvement, and the New-Look Isuzu D-Max is a testament to that. While maintaining our award-winning 4x4 expertise, we have added some significant visual enhancements and new features to elevate the driving experience for our customers. We are taking a step further into the lifestyle sector thanks to this new look, without suffering any compromise to the D-Max’s workhorse heritage and capability. It’s the same substance, with a different style.”
