Dacia Duster enjoys celeb adventure

The rugged Dacia Duster has beefed-up its outdoorsy credentials after being endorsed by telly adventurer Monty Halls.

In case you’re not familiar with this work, Halls is a former Royal Marine and an accomplished ocean diver and marine biologist.

He has, among other things, discovered a sunken city off the coast of India and has also filmed rare crocodiles in Central America.

You might have seen the 58-year-old most recently in Channel 4’s My Family and the Galapagos.

And if the Dacia Duster is good enough for a fully-fledged outdoorsman like Halls, it’s more than likely good enough for you, too.

The broadcaster will use an all-wheel drive Dacia Duster Extreme mild hybrid 130 4x4 while shooting his next expedition. It’s called the ‘Celtic Dagger’ and it’s an archaeological exploration of the west coast of Scotland where specialised military training took place in the 1940s.

Dacia points out how Hall’s particular Duster has hill descent control, 217mm of ground clearance, and various off-road driving modes.

Monty Halls himself added: “As with every expedition, never losing sight of the essentials is key to its success. Duster ticks all the boxes to conquer everything from the school run to rough terrain and any challenge we face. Whether that’s day-to-day life, planning, or tackling the wild and remote Highland landscape, Duster will be by my side.”
