About the Renault Austral SUV
The Renault Austral is a stylish SUV first launched in 2022 and which received a major update in 2025, arriving with redesigned bumpers, new lights and improved levels of comfort.
The Austral is a sibling car to the Renault Rafale, with the Rafale being a slightly sleeker (and slightly larger) SUV-coupe while the Austral offers a more traditional SUV silhouette.
A full-hybrid set-up provides power of 200 hp, electric driving in short bursts, and fuel economy of up to 60 miles to the gallon.
