The Austral from Renault is a distinctive SUV with style to spare and which takes advantage of the very latest hybrid technology.

The Austral’s ‘E-Tech Hybrid’ powertrain is a self-charging hybrid system, which never need to be plugged in, yet which offers considerable power of 203 PS.

The powertrain also ensures the Austral is a key rival to the Nissan Qashqai e-Power self-charging hybrid, as well as hybrid variants of the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson and Ford Kuga.
The Austral can also be enjoyed as a mild-hybrid variant.
One of the Austral’s party pieces is its versatile interior, as lease customers have the option to equip it with a sliding rear bench of seats. Scooting the rear seats forwards unlocks impressive amounts of boot space - 555 litres.
And the other great thing about the Austral - like the Renault Megane E-Tech - is that it arrives with a cabin infotainment system that has Google automatically built-in.
