- Renault Master named Van of the Year
- Award comes from What Van?
- Big wins for Ford at the What Van? Awards 2025, too
- Maxus eDeliver 5 is ‘Zero-Emission Van of the Year’
The new Renault Master has been crowned ‘Van of the Year’ in the What Van? Awards 2025.
The annual bash took place at the Hilton London Bankside with the great and good of the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) world represented.
Renault’s Master took home the overall gong while also bagging the silverware for ‘Large Van of the Year’.
Ford took home a trio of awards, with accolades for the Ford Transit Courier (below), Ford Transit Custom, and Ford Ranger pick-up.
The Renault Master is available to lease with either a traditional diesel engine or as the fully-electric Master E-Tech.
James Dallas, Editor of What Van?, said: “Renault has upped its game with the new Master, which has raised the bar for efficiency, practicality and refinement. This outstanding large van has enjoyed a stellar year, being crowned International Van of the Year and now winning the overall What Van? Van of the Year Award.”
Adam Wood, Managing Director and Country Head Renault Group UK, said: “These awards prove that our latest Renault Master is stronger and more capable than ever. With a choice of powertrains – including 100% electric – New Master is cited consistently by industry experts as the new benchmark in a highly competitive sector.”
The Master gets load spaces of between 11 to 14.8 cubic metres, depending on the model, while the electric Master E-Tech enjoys a range of up to 285 miles between charges thanks to a 87kWh battery. Rapid charging at 130 kW DC can add 142 miles of range in just 30 minutes.
