The special edition Iveco Daily 4x4 Tigrotto is now available in a right-hand drive version for UK customers. Based on the rugged Daily 4x4, the Euro-spec model was revealed at IAA 2022 in Hannover where the Tigrotto proved to be the star of the show. Its namesake, the original 1957 Tigrotto, to which this special edition pays homage, was designed for heavy-duty tasks and saw numerous variations over its 15-year lifespan.
The new Tigrotto is available to order as a chassis cab, allowing bodybuilders to go to town on this highly capable platform.
All variants of the Tigrotto are powered by a 3.0-litre, 180hp diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Utilising the Iveco Daily truck-based chassis, the 7.2-tonne Tigrotto is available with a payload of up to 4,165kg and body lengths of up to 4,450mm.
The Tigrotto — meaning ‘tiger cub’ in Italian — boasts substantial off-road capability, with three locking differentials and low-speed gearbox ratios to maximise traction. The advanced Electronic Stability Program prevents wheel slip as much as possible, and excellent approach and departure angles, coupled with a significantly increased ride height, add to the Tigrotto’s rugged credentials.
The two-tone bodywork, with bold red accents and instantly recognisable badging, harks back to the original 1950s model. The classic look is further complemented by retro-inspired wheels and rounded spotlights, which are both stylish and functional.
The vintage-inspired elements also extend inside the cabin, featuring a distinctive dashboard in contrasting shades, topped off with the Tigrotto logo. There are also branded floormats unique to this special edition model.

“In addition to looking the part, the Tigrotto retains the impressive all-terrain dynamics of the Iveco Daily 4x4.”
The Iveco Daily Tigrotto is now available to order from dealers in on- or off-road configurations. While list prices aren’t available, expect significant discounts if your company is buying 100 at a time. If you’re an individual buyer, bear in mind that the Tigrotto is based on the Daily 4x4, which begins at more than £70,000 and keeps climbing from there, so don’t expect much change from £100,000.
