Easter is one of the busiest periods of the year and there generally are more chances that you can get stuck in traffic. If you're someone travelling this Easter, especially with kids then its best to plan!
BBC news has reported there will be about 11 million cars expected to take to the roads during this Easter holiday weekend, and Thursday is predicted one of the worst delays could happened.

Best and worst timings to travel -
1) Google MAP or any online GPS navigation can be a handy option for you if you are stuck in traffic and need any alternate route.The Sunday is expected to the quietest day on the roads with around 25% fewer vehicles than the average Sunday.
2) Check your vehicle is roadworthy - water, fuel, oil, tyre air pressure and overall condition of your car.
3) Dont forget to pack some food to keep you fill in traffic delays.
4) Keep the contact number of your insurance company and driving documents safe in case of a collision.
If you are taking trains, there can sometimes be work over the weekend as fewer passengers use the railways on Bank holidays so the frequency wont be the same as usual.

Also overseas travellers should leave the home a bit earlier than usual as there are over 200,000 families travelling to the airport compared to a typical Friday to Monday period.
