Nissan revealed its all-new Micra at the 2016 Paris Motor Show which is out now featuring new design, styling, and a raft of technology features that makes the NEW Micra fun to drive!
Let’s see the Nissan Micra highlights here:
1) Longer, wider and lower than before
Compared to the older model, the new Micra is significantly longer, wider and lower than before. With sportier aerodynamics it offers striking looks and will surely grab the attention on roads.
2) Front end follows Nissan’s crossover design
The Nissan Micra’s whole front end design follows Nissan’s other crossovers featuring a“V-motion” grille design and striking shoulder lines stretching from the bonnet; giving asporty, muscular look. Following this generation the Micra’s makeover has gone from a small, rounded car to a much sportier version.
3) Featuring chunky three-spoke steering wheel
The interior also features a new contemporary look and has a three-spoke steering wheel and a “doughnut” shaped centre console which is extended to horizontal dashboard and is functional and easy to use.

4) Adjustable driving position to suit a wide range of drivers
Another benefit of the Micra is its adjustable driver seat. A feature in not all superminis, new Micra drivers can adjust its driving position and the interior space also improved due to its bigger body.

5) Offered in a choice of petrol and diesel engine
The new Micra is offered in two petrol variations – both a 1.0 and 0.9 litre petrol engine. There is only one diesel available – a 1461 cc 90PS which sounds quite economical offering combined 88.3 mpg and 92 g/km CO2 emission.

6) Packed with advanced safety features
The entry level Visia model comes with 15-inch steel wheels, Bluetooth compatible radio, lane depicture warning, intelligent lane intervention and intelligent emergency braking as standard. The Visia adds stop/start technology and manual air conditioning.
Additional to Visia grade, the Acenta adds 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, 7-inch touchscreen, and app integration. The N-Connecta adds premium features that adds leather steering wheel, rear privacy glass, electrically folded heated door mirrors and Nissan Connect touchscreen navigation. The high-spec Tekna model adds 17-inch alloy wheels, leather wrapped gear know, rear view camera with rear parking sensors and BOSE audio system.

7) A huge range of personalisation options available
The New Micra can be widely personalised with over 100 different configurations to choose from various exterior colour packs and additional exterior/interior features.
8) There is a 300-litre boot capacity
The new Micra is spacious offering 300 litres of boot capacity (35 litres more than old model) which can be extended to 1004 litres by folding the rear seats down.
9) The Old Micra is still available on discounted rates
The new Nissan Micra is out that means the old one is still available at discounted rates, depending on stock availability.
