Get it while it’s hot - because the brand new Volkswagen ID.7 is now available to lease.
The ID.7 is a premium, fully-electric saloon from VW that competes with upmarket competitors like the BMW i4, Polestar 3 Long Range Dual Motor, and the Tesla Model 3 Long Range.
Volkswagen has this week opened the order books on what it calls the ‘flagship of the ID range’, with prices to purchase outright beginning at £55,570,
And you can lease the VW ID.7 with Select Car Leasing from £795 per month*.
There’s just one model you can lease right now - and that’s the introductory ID.7 Pro Launch Edition.
Here a 77 kWh battery provides a range of up to 384 miles between charges as well as power of 286 PS. DC charging at up to 175 kW will make for rapid energy replenishes while on the go. Volkswagen says an ID.7 with an even BIGGER battery will be available next year.
Meanwhile luxury is the order of the day with this launch model.
A VW spokesperson explains: “Luxurious, high-quality materials combine with a smooth ride and excellent noise suppression to ensure quiet, relaxed journeys. Interior temperature is optimised using smart air conditioning, which the car initiates automatically as the driver approaches with the key. Best-in-class assistance systems are also included, such as Travel Assist with swarm data, which introduces assisted lane changing at speeds above 90 km/h on motorways, and automatic parking with memory function over a distance of up to 50 metres.”
The ID.7’s ‘smart’ panoramic sunroof can switch from clear to opaque at the touch of a button - or via voice command - and a huge 15-inch infotainment screen is standard.
Rod McLeod, Director of Volkswagen UK, tells us: “We are really excited to introduce the ID.7 to our customers. We know lots of people – including many business drivers – have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. The ID.7 is a hugely attractive package, offering state-of-the-art technologies that impress through their exclusivity, premium comfort and a really high degree of everyday usability.”
