We’ve been bringing you, dear readers, regular news updates throughout the past twelve months.
And it’s fair to say that 2022 has been the opposite of dull.
We’ve witnessed, among other things, the arrival of landmark vehicles like the MG MG4 EV, while also seeing the end of the road loom for cars like the iconic Ford GT and the much-loved Ford Fiesta.
In the background we’ve had premium manufacturers doing their best to drop jaws, with Lotus launching the all-electric Eletre SUV (above) and Aston Martin deciding to unleash a track-only superbike (below). As you do.
Meanwhile Select has also been working hard throughout 2022 to help those less fortunate, supporting lots of different charitable endeavours and ensuring we stay the right side of Santa's list.

New Range Rover Sport arrives in style
When the new and improved Range Rover Sport was announced in May this year, it returned with a massive splash. Quite literally.
Not only did we see it clambering up a flooded dam spillway in Iceland, the accompanying video featured celebs like James Corden and Anthony Joshua.

Love Island’s Chris Hughes takes the Select Tesla challenge
Chris Hughes, the chap who stole hearts on Love Island back in 2017, is a good sort.
We loaned him a Tesla Model Y - his first ever experience in an electric car - so that he could attend an important golf event in Scotland.
And during an exclusive interview he generously lifted the lid on vehicular crashes, what life as a reality TV star is really like, and spoke passionately about his commitment to charity work.
Here at Select, we’ve fully jumped on board the electric vehicle (EV) bandwagon.
And to mark World EV day in September we found someone just as passionate about battery-powered cars as us - world renowned climatologist Professor Ed Hawkins, of the University of Reading.
