Updated Suzuki Vitara gets added style and tech

  • Facelift for Suzuki Vitara
  • Comes with new exterior styling and added tech
  • Available in Motion and Ultra trim levels
  • You can order one now with Select Car Leasing

This is the new Suzuki Vitara, fresh for 2025, coming with updated exterior styling and more kit fitted as standard.

The Vitara is Suzuki’s popular compact SUV, sitting behind the S-Cross and the Across in the Japanese firm’s range when it comes to size.

It’ll soon be joined by a fully-electric sibling, the e Vitara, which will be joining the line-up next year.

As before, the improved and traditionally-fuelled Vitara will continue to be available as either a mild-hybrid or full hybrid, with ‘ALLGRIP’ all-wheel drive up for grabs with powertrains.

Refreshed 2025 models - now available to order with Select - boast a re-designed front grille and bumper, rear upper spoiler incorporating rear window side spoilers, and new design 17-inch alloy wheels.

The trim level names have also changed. You’ve now got a choice of either ‘Motion’ or ‘Ultra’, which is consistent with Suzuki’s S-Cross, Swace and Swift models.

The good news here for lease customers is that entry-level ‘Motion’ variants now come even better equipped as standard - and the spec level was already generous to begin with.

You can expect a 9-inch media display, wireless smartphone link with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry and start, high beam assist, and rear parking sensors.

There’s safety tech like lane keep assist, intelligent speed control and driver monitoring.

Meanwhile the collision mitigation system has also been improved with a millimetre-wave radar replacing the previous lidar to provide Dual Sensor Brake Support.

The ‘Ultra’ grade adds a bunch of extras, including 17-inch alloys, a panoramic sliding roof, suede and leather upholstery, and parking sensors at the front and back.

The latest Suzuki Vitara is also more fuel efficient. The 2WD mild-hybrid manual transmission models offer up to 9% improvement at 53.2mpg.

Full hybrid 2WD models with AGS transmission (Automated Gear Shift) offer up to 6% improvement at 56.4 mpg.

A Suzuki spokesperson summed up: “The Vitara hybrid remains a strong selling model in the range and Suzuki is very pleased to announce some significant revisions for 2025 with redefined SUV styling, an even higher level of standard equipment and technology as well as further improved hybrid efficiency.”

Alternatives to leasing a Suzuki Vitara include the Toyota Yaris Cross, Ford Puma and Renault Captur.
