This is the new MG4 EV Extended Range - and it’s capable of journeying up to 323 miles before you need to stop and recharge.
The fully electric MG4 EV has been nothing short of a phenomenon since it was launched last year.
It has picked up a string of industry awards while also somehow keeping leasing prices low. You can lease one with Select from just £293 per month*.
Up until now, the MG4 EV has been available in two main guises - Standard Range and Long Range, the latter of which provided up to 270 miles of battery power.
Now, though, a new MG4 EV has joined the fray - the Extended Range model - and it’s ready to go the distance.
It sits at the very top of the MG4 EV tree, ahead of the also recently-released MG4 ‘XPOWER’ hot hatch, which prioritises all-out performance over range.
That 323-mile range also inches the MG4 EV ever close to the ‘Pro S’ version of Volkswagen’s ID.3, which has a range of up to 347 miles between top-ups.
The Extended Range MG4 is equipped with a new 77 kWh battery - larger than anything else in the car’s line-up - which can be recharged from 10-80 per cent in as little as 39 minutes.
Like its XPOWER sibling, the rear-wheel drive Extended Range model is plenty powerful - boasting 245 PS and capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 6.5 seconds.
To put that into perspective, it’s just as quick as the Ford Fiesta ST.
Extended Range models come in the ‘Trophy’ trim level as standard, which also brings you 18-inch alloys, a black two-tone roof, 10.25-inch ‘floating’ touchscreen, 360 degree parking camera, and adaptive cruise control.
