This is the new MG3 SE Petrol - the most affordable MG available in the UK.
The MG3 was first launched in the UK way back in 2013 and it has long been a quirky alternative to cars like the Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i10, and Vauxhall Corsa.
The MG3 was reinvented as a self-charging hybrid last year, arriving with curvier styling and loads of kit fitted as standard.
This fresh MG3 SE Petrol gets the same modernised new exterior as the MG3 Hybrid but jettisons the hybrid powertrain in favour of a traditional 1.5-litre petrol engine.
You can expect 115 PS - plenty more than the 100 PS entry-level Vauxhall Corsa - and the ability to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 10.8 seconds. The MG3 SE Petrol will also return up to 46.3 miles per gallon on the combined cycle.
The other good thing about the latest MG3 is that it’s generously equipped as standard, adding a real sense of value for your leasing money.
You get a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen with 7-inch digital cockpit, sat nav, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, USB ports in the front and rear, as well as a 6-speaker audio system.
Standard-fit safety tech includes autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, and lane keep assist.
Besides the new MG3, MG is also launching a new ‘SE Petrol’ version of the MG ZS compact SUV, too.
The MG ZS SE is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and utilises the same efficient 1495cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine as the MG3 SE Petrol.
The MG3 SE Petrol is priced from £16,495. The MG ZS SE Petrol starts at £19,495.
