Frankfurt motor show debut
Recently, Jaguar has debuted the F-Pace at the 2015 Frankfurt motor show in an extremely unique way with a Guinness world record-breaking 360 degree loop. The stunt was done by legendary driver Terry Grant, showcasing its lightweight design, agility, sports car speed and performance. The stunt marks the 80th anniversary of Jaguars iconic brand.
What is it?
The Jaguar F-PACE inspired by the F-TYPE Coupe and follows the Jaguar XE, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport and Jaguar XF featuring the award-winning 2.0 litre 4 cylinder 180PS Turbocharged Diesel from the Ingenium range offering 57.64 miles per gallon fuel economy and CO2 of 129 grams per kilometre only. The car will be available with a bigger 3.0 litre petrol engine that accelerates 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 5.5 seconds.
Lightweight aluminium architecture
The new F-Pace features the companys lightweight aluminium architecture which offers great protection to all occupants and its reduced weight boosts the cars efficiency Jaguar is confident saying the F-PACE is among the lightest cars in its class offering a weight distribution for a sporty performance and impeccable ride.
Design & Styling
The F-Pace is a beautiful car featuring a bold front grille and a muscular body with a wide long bonnet. Featuring brands signature J blade daytime running lights and adaptive full-LED headlights; plus it is a relatively long car for its compact billing, its nearly 40cm longer than a Range Rover Evoque and about the same height.
The F-Pace offers class-leading boot capacity of 650-litres with 40:20:40 rear seats configuration which provides a total load space of 1740 litres.
Trim Levels
The entry-level Pure model gets agile handling, impressive practicality with an extensive list of standard equipments that includes:
- 18 inch alloy wheels
- Halogen headlights with daytime running lights
- 8-way manual front seats
- Premium cloth seat
- Moving up to the next trim level Prestige, in addition to all that the Pure has, Bi-xenon headlights with LED J blade daytime running lights, headlight power wash, interior mood lighting, carpet mats, front fog lights and Taurus leather seats.
In addition to Prestige the Portfolio model features 10 way electric front seats, perforated Windsor leather luxury seats, and gloss figured ebony veneer.
The R-Sport trim features big sporty 19 inch alloy wheels, R-Sport body styling and R-Sport branded metal trade plates.
You can add in full wheel covers, body coloured bumpers, handles and wing mirrors, rear parking sensors, cruise control, a multi-function display, drivers lumbar support, under-seat storage and sun visors with vanity mirrors to the already bulging specification list.
In addition to R-Sport, the S model comes with 20 inch big alloy wheels, S styled body kit, Taurus leather and suede cloth sport seats, red brake callipers and satin chrome gearshift paddles.
