The world of premium, luxurious, fully electric vehicles is about to get a new rival - the sleek Aehra Sedan.

You might not have heard of Aehra, but it’s a firm that’s taking the fight to big-hitting EV producers like Tesla, Lotus, Porsche, Audi and Mercedes-Benz.
Aehra is an Italian-American manufacturer founded by CEO Hazim Nada, a theoretical physicist and global finance expert, and headquartered in Milan.
Nada and his Aehra team want to disrupt the very top end of the opulent EV market - and they hope to start selling vehicles in Europe by 2025, with deliveries in 2026.

So, there’s every chance Aehra could waft on to UK roads. And this, the Sedan, could be among the first to arrive, alongside an electric SUV that was revealed last year.
Aehra says the Sedan is ‘sinuously styled’ and ‘inspired by centuries of Italian design and purity of expression’.

The manufacturer hopes the Sedan will be able to cover a jaw-dropping 497 miles between charges, which eclipses the 452-mile range offered by the Mercedes-Benz EQS saloon.
You can expect an abundance of carbon fibre to keep the weight down… and the price high.
There are also double-falcon doors which open upwards, just like they would on a supercar.
While Aehra isn’t revealing the precise power output of the Sedan just yet, it’s likely to share the same powertrain as the Aehra SUV, which provides power of 815 PS and a top speed of around 165 mph.
