The entry-level RWD Model Y is equipped with a 60 kWh battery which translates to a range of up to 283 miles between charges. Rapid charging at speeds of up to 170 kW DC can take the battery to 172 miles full in around 25 minutes.
The dual-motor Long Range model gets a larger 75 kWh battery and 331 miles worth of range. The Long Range Tesla Model Y also unlocks the option of seven seats or a whopping 854 litres of boot space,
The Performance Model Y is capable of accelerating from 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds while still affording a maximum range of 331 miles between trips to the plug. Meanwhile even the most affordable Rear-Wheel Drive variants are equipped with Tesla’s trademark ‘Autopilot’ tech, which includes adaptive cruise control and ‘Autosteer’ to keep you safe in your lane.
The interior is another stand-out feature of the Tesla Model Y. Standard equipment includes a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless phone charging, heated seats in the front and back, a vegan interior, heated steering wheel, a reversing camera, and a panoramic glass roof.
