    The relationship between Renault and Alpine is becoming increasingly blurred. Technically, they’re two separate brands under the same roof, but Renault has started putting Alpine badges on its sportily styled SUV and hatchbacks, while Alpine has, apparently, started tarting up Renault products.

    If you need evidence of that, look no further than the new Alpine A290, which is essentially a high-performance version of the retro-styled Renault 5 that’s just arrived on the market. Offering more rally-inspired design cues and a dollop more power, as well as bespoke chassis settings and equipment, it’s supposed to be the top of the Renault 5 tree, but does it feel a cut above the Renault-badged product?

    Connor Esberger was an extremely good contact throughout my leasing process. Very responsive and helpful. I can't thank him enough. However, the process wasn't straight forward and it made it frustrating for myself and Connor. Unfortunately the vehicle was very late in being delivered with so many bumps along the way with the Portal system incorrect and misinformation being given by others. We got there in the end however and I am now delighted with my new vehicle. I will use Select Car Leasing again and hope that it will be smoother next time and that my delivery experience is out of the ordinary.

    Excellent service by Charlie Cooper who made the whole experience very easy and slick. The car we wanted was already reserved so we started to look elsewhere but Charlie remained on the case and contacted us when the car became available again. Would definitely recommend.
