The entry-level model is well equipped as standard while a large 400-litre boot - bigger than you get with many popular family hatchbacks - offers everyday practicality.
The range-topping Junior Elettrica Veloce model, meanwhile, is the one thrill-seekers will gravitate to, as it gets power of 240 hp, lowered sports suspension, and a Torsen limited slip differential to keep you on the straight and narrow when you’re pushing the car to its limit.
The entry-level Junior Elettrica model enjoys power of 156 hp and a maximum 250-mile range. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloys, LED headlights and tail lights, rear parking sensors, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, and safety systems such as adaptive cruise control, active lane assist, and automatic emergency braking. A heat pump is also fitted as standard.
The mid-range Junior Speciale Elettrica features unique alloys, uprated seats and steering wheel, sports pedals and kick plates, a hands-free electric tailgate, and a 180-degree camera.
The Junior Elettrica Veloce model sits at the top of the range. It boasts power of 240 hp, a Torsen sports differential, lowered suspension, larger 20-inch alloys, and leather and suede upholstery in the interior.
Like the Alfa Romeo Junior, the Jeep Avenger features a 54 kWh battery and 250-mile range. The Avenger is also available to lease with a petrol mild-hybrid engine.
Not ready to go fully electric? The traditionally-fuelled Ford Puma is similar in stature to the Alfa Romeo Junior and is also one of the best-selling cars in the UK.
