The heavy-duty Proace Max is the largest van in Toyota's line-up, boasting a load capacity of up to 17m3 and the option of either a traditional diesel or fully-electric powertrain.

The Proace Max Electric is underpinned by a 110kWh lithium-ion battery, driving a 270hp motor that produces 410Nm of torque. You can expect a range of up to 260 miles between charges while rapid 150kW recharging speeds allowing it to go from empty to 80% in just 55 minutes.
Proace Max diesel models have a 2.2-litre engine producing power of 140hp and which can be mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or eight-speed auto transmission.
Diesel variants have a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes, while electric models extend to 4.25 tonnes.
All models feature a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated navigation, a digital instrument cluster, climate control, automatic headlights with high beam assist, a reversing camera, and rear parking sensors.
Rivals to the Toyota Proace Max include the Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Relay and Vauxhall Movano.
