All hail the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric - as it has topped the battery-powered vans sales chart once again.
Monthly figures issued by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show that the Vivaro Electric totted-up more new registrations during the month of September than any of its rivals.
Not only has the all-electric van outstripped sales for the month across the eLCV sector, but the ongoing success has pushed Vauxhall’s year-to-date sales figures further ahead of its rivals.

The Vivaro Electric, which has a range of up to 205 miles between charges and power of up to 130 PS, is available to lease with Select from £349 per month, excluding VAT*.
Manufacturer Vauxhall also took the number two spot for the month overall, with the compact Vauxhall Combo Electric (below) becoming the second most popular choice for eLCV buyers.
The models are proving successful in both the fleet and private buyer markets, and the registration figures show that almost one in three eLCVs registered during September carries a Vauxhall badge.
This accolade has helped the brand to solidify its position as the best-selling eLCV manufacturer in the UK.
