- Stellantis adds new 'Plus' trim to four of its vans
- Available with Fiat Doblo, Vauxhall Combo, Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Partner
- Sits above entry-level models
- Adds a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a two-bench seat in the cabin
A new trim level has been added to the popular compact van range from Stellantis. The ‘Plus’ trim will be available across all four models in the line-up: The Fiat Doblo, Vauxhall Combo, Citroen Berlingo, and 2024 compact van sales chart-topper, the Peugeot Partner.
What’s new?
The Plus trim builds on the entry-level models in the range. It includes heated and adjustable door mirrors, lumbar-adjustable driver’s seat and air conditioning, along with safety features such as lane keep assist, emergency braking and rear parking sensors.
A 10.0-inch touchscreen replaces the standard smartphone dock with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and natural voice recognition for hands-free control. The single passenger seat is replaced by a two-seater bench, with the load capacity increasing to 4.4m³, thanks to a load-through bulkhead. An electric parking brake is also now standard on all Plus models, creating a little more room in the cab.
Electric or diesel?
The range is available with diesel or electric power, with the EV models delivering up to 213 miles of range (WLTP figures), driven by a 52kWh battery and 136hp motor. The battery can be charged to 80% in around 30 minutes using a 100kW rapid charger. The payload capacity of the electric models is 781kg, with a towing limit of 750kg, while the load space remains the same as the diesel versions. The diesel vans have a 1.5-litre engine coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The Plus trim level will be available in both short- and long-wheelbase versions of each van across each of the manufacturer’s brands.
Price and availability
Plus trim models are now available from all four manufacturers. Prices start at £21,595 for 1.5-litre diesel short-wheelbase models from Fiat, Peugeot and Citroen, with electric versions starting from £28,995. Vauxhall Combo variants are slightly pricier, at around 2% more than their Stellantis siblings, but leasing rates vary across all four brands, so check carefully.
