Fiat has launched the limited edition Onyx version of its Scudo van, with just 100 units available to UK businesses.
The Onyx is based on the current Scudo model but elevates it to a more stylish level, with unique updates to set it apart from the standard model. This comes ahead of the facelifted model, which will soon hit the UK.
The limited edition Onyx has both rear roof and front lower spoilers, a sports-style rear bumper, and Onyx decals along the side of the van. If that isn’t enough to make it stand out from the crowd, there are also extended side sill mountings between the 18-inch black Y-spoke alloy wheels. Two bodywork colour options are available — metallic Colosseum Grey or metallic Cinema Black.
Step inside the cabin, and you’ll find a Magic Cargo passenger bench with a load-through bulkhead, making the Onyx versatile and easy to move both passengers and cargo. Navigation is included thanks to the Techno Nav pack, which is accessed via the 7.0-inch infotainment screen and steering wheel controls. There’s a panoramic camera fitted, too, which sends clear images to the screen mounted in the centre of the dashboard.
The Assist Pack is fitted as standard to the Scudo Onyx, with forward collision alert, lane departure warning and emergency braking. Blind spot alert, adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors and high beam assist are also included in the pack, along with electrically folding heated door mirrors, front fog lights and driver attention alert.
Fiat has also included the Comfort Pack, which includes a leather steering wheel, electronic parking brake, keyless entry and start, and climate control, adding those little extra touches to complement the enhanced style.
Under the bonnet, the power is supplied by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that gives 145hp and 340Nm of torque. This is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, which gives an official fuel economy measure of 35.8mpg.
The Fiat Scudo Onyx is now available to buy outright, priced at £39,100 plus VAT.
