Must Visit Motor Shows

We start off at probably the biggest Motor Show on the planet: the Frankfurt Motor Show. Also known as the International Motor Show Germany, the show takes place in the Messe Frankfurt and attracts around one million visitors per year. The show is actually split into two, with commercial vehicles being shown on even numbered years and passenger vehicles shown on odd numbered years.

The massive Asian market is represented here by the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and the Tokyo Motor Show. The Beijing show alternates with Shanghai as China's main annual motor show (Auto China). This show has become a mecca of the car industry as the major players fight for dominance in the massive and growing Chinese car market.

As you might expect, Tokyo is a great place to go if you want to see some pretty unique concept cars, such as the Yamaha 2 seater concept sports car built using F1 technology.

We had to include the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the historic home of the American Car Industry. This historic event has been going since 1907 and is still at the heart of the American car manufacturing industry.

To finish off we look forward to the upcoming London Motor Show and some of the car manufactures that are exhibiting there.

As we believe that if you're going to visit these car shows you should stay somewhere that befits such grand occasions, we've also included some of the grandest, coolest and most stylish nearby hotels.
