The mean and moody hot-hatch puts a unique twist on the regular MINI JCW three-door model, and just 150 models will arrive in the UK. A sum total of 999 will be produced globally.
One of the key things that’s unique about the 1to6 spesh is that it’ll only be available with a manual gearbox - hence you can row through the gears, one 1 to 6, while you’re blatting through the twisties.
The regular MINI JCW, on the other hand, is also available with an automatic sports transmission with gearshift paddles as well as a manual box.
The other cool thing about the 1to6 is the unique exterior and interior styling - all of which comes in shades of black or grey.
The paint is ‘Midnight Black’ - which you can, again, get when you lease the regular MINI JCW - and you also enjoy a Piano Black exterior trim, 18 inch black alloys, darkened rear glass, and 1to6 themed go-faster stripes.
There’s bespoke badging across the entire vehicle, and the logo is even printed on the panoramic sunroof.
There’s also red accents spread throughout the cabin, from the cockpit to the ambient lighting and the glowing bezel that surrounds the central instrument display.
Standard equipment includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen with sat nav, Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, a head-up display, and a swanky surround sound system from Harman Kardon.
Lease customers will also settle into heated front seats, while relying on assistance systems like a reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors.
Powering the 1to6 is the same engine you find in the standard MINI JCW hatch - a 2.0 litre, four cylinder, twin turbo petrol engine with power of 231 hp.
That unit ensures you’ll accelerate from 0-62mph in just 6.3 seconds, which is just a shade quicker than the Ford Fiesta ST and the Hyundai i20N.
You can lease a MINI JCW hatchback with Select Car Leasing, with prices starting from £452 per month*.
