After its Geneva Motor Show debut, Land Rover have officially revealed the first pictures and specification details of its all-new and highly anticipated vehicle the Velar.
A coupe styled SUV it is one of the most talked about vehicles of the automotive industry and many Land Rover fans are waiting to get the car with over 40,000 customers having already registered interest in the model 12,000 of those being from UK, confirmed by Land Rover.
The brand-new Velar is packed full of technology, powerful engines, and a new triple screen infotainment system. The Velar was exclusively revealed at a special event in London ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut.

Looks wise -the Velar is the most regular sized car Range Rover so far with sophisticated styling a lower roof line and raising window line giving a coupe styled SUV look to the new Velar and highlighting its new deployable door handles when not in use.
As standard the Velar comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels while the first edition models come with 22-inch alloy wheels. Its size is also quite similar to the Jaguar F-Pace. The centrepiece of the front cabin incorporates a 12.3inch TFT cockpit screen. Its touch pro duo system allows the user to simultaneously view and interact with multiple features at once.
Engines
The Velar will be offered with six petrol and diesel engines ranging from 2.0 litre four-cylinder diesel and more powerful supercharged petrol engines, too. The entry level model is offered with a 2.0 litre D180 engine delivering 52.5 miles per gallon fuel efficiency and accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per gallon in 8.4 seconds at 130 miles per hour top speed.

All Velars will be offered with four-wheel drive and come with eight speed automatic transmission as standard. Land Rover are quite confident when talking about their Velar model and its off-road capability. The Velar is expected to reach an angle up to 28.89 degrees and its maximum wadding depth on air suspension models is 650mm.

The Velar offers boot capacity of 632 litres with the all the seats in place, and 1731 litres with the rear seats down.
All the models come with heated front seats, keyless smart key entry, a heated windscreen, LED headlights, gesture controlled tailgate, 10 way electrically adjustable front seats and leather upholstery as standard. The SE models gets 20-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree parking aid, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, LED high beam assist and 825W meridian sound system. The range topper HSE comes with 21 inch alloys, Windsor leather seats, with climate and massage functions. Satin chrome trim, adaptive cruise control with queue assist and a power adjustable steering column.
The sporty themed R-Dynamic trim comes with satin grey finish alloy wheels, bright metal alloy pedals, more aggressive front bumper design, park pro add, rear traffic monitor, blind spot assist and many more.
