Say ‘yellow’ to this funkily-coloured new Kia Stonic ‘Quantum’ special edition.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the Stonic, it’s a medium sized crossover from Kia that acts as an ever-so-slightly smaller sibling to the Kia Niro.
And this new Quantum model has been designed to sit between the mid-range ‘GT-Line’ and ‘3’ trim levels - offering ‘maximum value to customers’.
There’s just one colour option - a striking ‘Storm Grey’ paint scheme with a yellow two-tone roof and yellow wing mirrors.
There’s also yellow inserts in the seats and throughout the cabin to give the Quantum a unique look both inside and out.
Like the rest of the Stonic range, there’s just the one engine - a 1.0 litre ‘T-GDi’ petrol unit, in this case with power of 99 bhp.
That should prove punchy enough for family tasks and you can also expect fuel economy of up to 51 mpg.
The Quantum Stonic is also really well-specced, right off the bat.
Lease customers will enjoy heated front seats, heated steering wheel, smart key with engine start/stop, rain-sensing front wipers and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
And the list goes on.
The Quantum is also equipped with 17 inch alloys, reversing camera, 8 inch touchscreen with sat nav, privacy glass, and a suite of driver assistance and safety tech that includes lane keep assist, driver attention warning, stability control, and a forward collision-avoidance system.
The Kia Stonic Quantum should be available to order as a lease vehicle in the coming weeks, with first deliveries arriving early next year.
And you can lease a regular Kia Stonic from around £260 a month (prices correct as of 15/12/22).
From where we’re standing, the Stonic makes alternative to other affordable crossovers like the SEAT Arona, Hyundai Kona and Nissan Juke.
