- New Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Line teased
- Sportier model will arrive later this year
- Full-on N model to follow
- Ioniq 6 gets a new design in general
Fancy leasing a sportier version of the Hyundai Ioniq 6? You’re in luck, because two of them will be winging their way to you this year.
This first one has been teased and pictured at this week’s Seoul Mobility Show.
It’s an aggressive new ‘N Line’ trim that takes its inspiration from the mad ‘RN22e’ concept car (below) that we first saw in 2022.
The sculpted front and rear wing-shaped bumpers catch the eye while the chunky side sills give it a lower stance.
But that’s not all, because Hyundai says there will also be a fully-fledged ‘N’ performance version of the Ioniq 6, just as we’ve got with the Ioniq 5 SUV.
If the Ioniq 6 N is anything like the Ioniq 5 N, we’re in for a treat, as the most potent variant of the 5 is a 650 PS drift monster that has won umpteen industry awards.
There’s no news on what power either the N Line or N iterations of the Ioniq 6 will have, but we’ll update you when you can.
Besides the sporty models, the Ioniq 6’s exterior design has been given a nip and a tuck all round. Hyundai promises, ‘more refined curves and enhanced proportions for a sleek and beautifully balanced silhouette’.
The old spoiler has been removed and replaced with an extended ducktail spoiler instead for a more refined look and optimum aerodynamics.
There are separate slim DRLs and main lamps while horizontal design elements create a wider stance.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find a new steering wheel and enhanced door trim materials for a more premium feel.
UK specs will be announced in due course.
