Fisker’s upcoming Ronin is a 1,000 horsepower ‘super GT’ with a range of up to 600 miles, the Californian firm has revealed.
You might not have heard of Fisker, but it’s an American manufacturer that’s making serious inroads into the UK leasing market.
The Fisker Ocean - a super-cool electric SUV - is available to order right now via Select, with the fully-loaded ‘Hyper Range’ launch model priced from £837 per month*.
And now Fisker has shared full details of the incoming Ronin - a sumptuous electric convertible that’s set to go down an absolute storm.
Just 999 vehicles will be built, and the Ronin will have a hefty £300,000 price tag.
Competitors are few and far between in the ‘electric convertible supercar’ segment, but you can expect the Fisker Ronin to go up against the already sold-out Polestar 6.
While the Ronin is sure to turn heads, Fisker says the GT has also been built with practicality in mind as it’ll seat five people and accommodate your luggage.
Yet it’ll also blat from 0-60 mph in 2.0 seconds and then on to a top speed of 170 mph, which means it’ll wipe the floor with many supercars.
The aim is for a 600-mile range, thanks to a lightweight aluminium space frame with integrated battery cells, as well as carbon fibre wheels and hardtop.
Meanwhile Fisker also wants the Ronin to offer a pure driving experience.
A spokesperson said: “Focus will be on driver enjoyment rather than autonomous technologies, although they will be available as needed.”
Eye-catching rear butterfly doors will ensure easy rear-seat access.
Deliveries will begin at the back end of next year for the lucky customers who’ve already put their deposits down.
