There’s a tough new Dacia Duster in town - the Extreme SE - and it sits right at the top of the trim levels.
The Dacia Duster occupies a really important place in the leasing market, being a dependable, affordable alternative to SUVs like the Renault Captur and the Nissan Qashqai.
It received a major revamp last year, which brought new interior styling and a host of driver assistance systems.
And it’s also an overhaul that has seen the Duster pick up a host of industry awards, including the What Car? gong for ‘Best family SUV, best for value’.
So, the latest incarnation of the Duster has already impressed critics - and this new model, the Extreme SE, is sure to be another crowd-pleaser.
It’s based on the Dacia’s range-topping ‘Prestige’ trim level, but it features a ‘bold’ new exterior design that includes eye-catching new 17 inch black alloys,
There's also 'Grey Quartz' door mirrors, front grille and roof bars, and a tailgate trim with a ‘Duster’ inscription finished in Black and satin chrome.
The sleek and sharp theme continues inside the cabin.
Flashes of orange colouring appear on the satin chrome air vent surrounds, on the charcoal grey centre console surround, and on the piano black inserts in the front door panels. There’s also orange stitching on the seats.
Meanwhile standard equipment includes automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, multi-view camera, blind spot warning, heated seats, acoustic windshield, and the Media Nav infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone mirroring and satellite navigation.
You get a choice of engines to power the Duster Extreme SE - including Dacia’s quirky Bi-Fuel powertrain that includes a turbocharged petrol engine capable of running on both petrol and LPG.
A dual-clutch ‘EDC’ automatic gearbox is available with the 'TCe' 150 PS petrol engine.
But if you want the proper 4x4 experience, you’ll need to opt for the diesel dCi 115 unit.

The Dacia Duster Extreme SE is priced from £17,495 on the road and with lease prices available soon - order books open in April.
