Audi has refreshed its flagship Q8 SUV, giving it sharper looks and state-of-the-art lights.
The traditionally-fuelled Audi Q8 - not to be confused with the electric Q8 e-tron - is one of the best premium SUVs on the market.
It slugs it out with heavyweights like the Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne and the BMW X6.
And now Audi has treated the Q8 to a subtle facelift that gives it new bumpers and HD lights at the front and rear.
As of October, when the new Q8 goes on sale, the front grille will feature vertical inlays to up the swank factor, while there are prominent new air intakes in the lower section of the front bumper.
At the rear lease customers will find newly-designed tailpipes.
Meanwhile Q8 drivers can also enjoy HD Matrix LED headlights at the front, depending on the trim level, and OLED rear lights across the entire width of the car.
You can also tick an option that combines HD Matrix LED headlights with ‘laser light’ tech - which work with 24 LEDs and a high-power laser diode each and gives an eye-catching blue hue to the illumination.
Speaking of colours, there are three new paint schemes to choose from - Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red - all as metallic finishes, as well as five new alloy wheel designs.
And for the first time, the Q8 also allows you to use popular apps like Spotify or Amazon via the infotainment touchscreen.
Pretty much everything else about the Audi Q8 remains the same as before.
Electronically-controlled air suspension, with a continuously adaptive damping system, is standard on all UK models, while the Q8s at the top of the range also get all-wheel steering.
There are two engines up for grabs with the regular Q8 - a 3.0 litre diesel mill with power of 286 PS, or a 3.0 petrol unit with increased power of 340 PS. That latter petrol-powered Q8 can accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds, which is quicker than the entry-level Porsche Cayenne.
And, as before, the Q8 is available in three main trims - S line, Black Edition and Vorsprung.
You can expect a ton of kit as standard across the range, including heated front sports seats, Audi’s virtual cockpit, and a 360 degree display.
The Black Edition adds goodies including larger alloys, polished oak inlays and a three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel.
The all-singing, all-dancing Vorsprung throws the lot at it - including a panoramic roof, a B&O premium sound system, heated rear seats, and ‘super sports seats’ up top.
Meanwhile at the very top of the Q8 tree sits the sensational SQ8, which ‘takes performance to another level’, according to Audi.
The SQ8 enjoys a 4.0 TFSI petrol engine with power of 507 PS and 770 Nm of torque, which is enough to accelerate the rapid SUV from 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds.
