Alpine has leaned on its Formula 1 know-how to launch a new version of its A110 S sports car, called the ‘Enstone Edition’.
The eye-catching coupe has been unveiled to coincide with this week’s F1 British GP at Silverstone, with Alpine sitting (at the time of writing) in fifth place in the constructors standings.
The A110 S Enstone Edition features a cockpit - particularly the visor and centre console - boasting carbon elements and materials used in the Alpine F1 car.
And ‘Enstone’ refers to the Oxfordshire site where the Alpine F1 Team is based.
Limited to just 300 units, this new A110 S can be enjoyed in two different shades of matt grey - ‘Gris Tonnerre’ and the lighter ‘Argent Mercure’.
UK models also feature a Union Jack on the roof, which is available in either gloss or matt tone-on-tone black.
Lease customers will also enjoy 18-inch matt black GT Race wheels, Brembo brakes, wrap-around race seats with exclusive Enstone Edition embroidery, as well as the option of fitting an aero kit and carbon rear quarter panel flags.
The A110 S Enstone Edition gets a 1.8 litre, turbocharged, 300 bhp engine, which is consistent with the regular Alpine A110 S. It’ll get you from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 171 mph.
It’s not the quickest A110 available - that honour goes to the A110 R, which utilises the same engine but gets the 0-62 mph sprint time down to 3.9 seconds.
The regular, entry-level A110 also features a 1.8 litre engine but has lesser power of 252 bhp.
When it comes to rivals, the Alpine A110 goes up against cars like the Toyota GR Supra, Audi TT Coupe, and Porsche 718 Cayman.
And Alpine is, of course, a subsidiary of parent company Renault.
