If you’re looking for a slightly more affordable version of the Alpine A110 R, you’re in luck, because the French firm has just launched a new A110 ‘R Turini’ model.
The sumptuous A110 is Alpine’s answer to the Porsche 718 Cayman or the Toyota GR Supra.
It’s available in four main forms - the standard A110, the ‘GT’ grand tourer, the sporty ‘S’, and the radical ‘R’. Alpine also launched a couple of special editions earlier this year, with the A110 S Enstone Edition and the range-topping, £122,000 A110 R Le Mans.
Now, though, the A110 ‘R Turini’ has taken its place on the grid, fresh for 2024.
At £91,490, the Turini sits between the more expensive £96,990 ‘R’ and the cheaper £67,490 ‘S’, making it an affordable new entry point into the A110 ‘R’ cars.
You can expect a 1.8 litre petrol engine making power of 300 bhp and which is able to catapult the A110 R Turini from 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
The Turini grade also gets 18-inch GT Race matte black aluminium wheels for ‘greater versatility on the road’, as well as a sharp chassis and swathes of carbon fibre lovingly borrowed from Alpine’s F1 race team.
And the good news doesn’t end there, because all models in the A110 range are being handed extra equipment as standard for 2024.
The entry-level, 252 bph A110 will feature 18-inch ‘Serac’ wheels and 320 mm ventilated brake discs as standard, as well as sports pedals and an aluminium footrest in the cabin.
The plusher A110 GT gets 18-inch diamond cut black alloys as standard, as well as goodies like an uprated sound system and heated seats.
Alpine’s A110 S has been designed with the odd track day in mind, and can be had with semi-slick tyres and an optional aero kit.
Meanwhile the lightweight ‘R’ is ‘lower, faster and more dynamic’ than other A110s, according to Alpine, and has a top speed north of 174 mph when you put your foot down on the circuit.
Production of the new-look Alpine A110s begins in March 2024.
And you can lease the current Alpine A110 with Select Car Leasing from £686 per month*.
