The electric Kia EV9 has added another trophy to its cabinet after winning a coveted design award.
The Red Dot Design Awards is a renowned global competition that recognises top-drawer innovation.
And the battery-powered Kia EV9 has been handed the ‘Best of the Best’ prize at the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024 celebration in the ‘Cars and Motorcycles’ category.

The EV9 is built on what Kia calls an 'Opposites United’ design philosophy that centres on three main pillars; futuristic design, highly advanced technology, and sustainable values.
The electric SUV has already won a clutch of industry awards, including the overall ‘World Car of the Year’ gong at the World Car Awards 2024.

What’s so good about the Kia EV9?
Well, it’s a brilliantly-styled seven-seater that promises the best of all worlds when it comes to practicality and performance.
You can expect a range of up to 349 miles between charges, a 333-litre boot even with all seven seats in place, and power of up to 380hp. Range-topping models can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 5.3 seconds, which is mind-boggling for a vehicle of its considerable heft.

Standard-issue tech includes everything from a 12.3- touchscreen with sat nav to Kia’s ‘Highway Driving Assist 2’ package that combines adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, leading vehicle distance technology, and a lane-centering assistance.
