GLC SE

An entry level SE model that defines dynamic style with a sculpted front integrated with LED daytime running lights and striking headlamps. It benefits from 17 inch alloy wheels and agility control technology ensures a well-balanced ride allowing you to choose between different driving modes. Beyond the privacy glass, the SUV looks stylish with the ARTICO leather upholstery and 7 inch colour display that provides convenient options including access to the audio system.

GLC Sport

The GLC Sport is a sportily trimmed version adding a smart look with bold 18 inch alloy wheels and LED headlamps incorporate the intelligent light system and the Garmin Map Pilot navigation system. The latest Active parking Assist Technology makes driving easy and convenient; thanks to its PARKTRONIC and reversing camera that helps guide you when it comes to parking. The sport version also benefits from heated front seats and a number of other sophisticated additions.

GLC AMG Line

This AMG line version comes with all the famous features; benefiting from AMG line body styling, sport suspension and AMG line sport suspension as well as 19 inch AMG line alloy wheels. The interior maintains an athletic theme with seats in ARTICO leather as well as AMG sport pedals and AMG line floor mats. You will also get the smart AMG sport steering wheel.

ENGINE TECHNICAL DATA

The GLC is available with only one 2.1 litre four-cylinder diesel engine with the choice of 170 or 204 horse powers. It comes with one nine-speed automatic gearbox making driving a lot easier. The engines are smooth and comfortable and are exactly what you would expect from a premium brand.

A plug-in hybrid version 350e is due next year and is expected to do 109mpg with CO2 emissions of 60g/km that makes it exempt from road tax.

In terms of safety, all the GLC’s gets collision prevention assist, crosswind assist, dynamic cornering assist, seat-belt reminder, Anti-lock braking system, auto-stop and start assist, a host of airbags and many more. As the car has arrived, it still needs to be tested by the Euro NCAP however its reasonable to assume that it will receive full five star crash safety ratings.
