VW Taigo Lease

The Volkswagen Taigo is an SUV crossover with a difference, and a car that’ll appeal to lease customers craving eye-catching design and individuality.

The Taigo sits in the VW line-up alongside similar compact SUVs, such as the T-Roc and the T-Cross. But where the Taigo differs from those models is in its styling.

A true crossover, you get the practicality of an SUV with the swooping roofline of a coupe, similar to the shape of the phased-out VW Scirocco.

And as a rival to the popular Renault Captur, Ford Puma and Nissan Juke, it’s sure to appeal to a whole host of lease customers.

There’s a healthy 438 litres of luggage capacity and while the rear of the car slopes backwards, it doesn’t restrict headroom in the back seat.

And there’s a choice of two petrol engines. A 1.0 litre unit is offered with either 95 or 110 PS, while there’s also a more powerful 1.5 litre engine offering 150 PS. .

Every model gets VW’s ‘Front Assist’ monitoring tech, including city emergency brake function and the lane departure warning system “Lane Assist” as standard.

The ‘IQ.DRIVE Travel Assist’ is available as an optional extra, enabling semi-automated driving up to a system-determined top speed of 210 km/h. And the fully-connected infotainment system includes an online ‘eSIM’ control unit that unlocks everything from over-the-air software updates to the latest parking updates.

The Taigo is also offered in sporty R-Line trim, which comes with sport exterior and interior styling, LED matrix headlights, ambient lighting in the cabin, black roof railings and 17 inch alloy wheels.

Superb experience so far! Very friendly staff and the portal was easy to use. I was assigned a personal customer advisor who has been really great (David Harding).
