Volkswagen’s ID. range of electric cars is beginning to gain traction in the market, with the ID.3 and the ID.4/ID.5 siblings all proving popular with consumers. Now, the line-up is growing to include the ID.7 saloon, which is billed as an electric alternative to the Passat and the Skoda Superb.

However, that means this big VW is up against the likes of Tesla and Polestar, both of whom are big players in the electric saloon market. So will VW’s promise of long-range batteries, improved infotainment systems and an impressive standard specification be enough to ensure the ID.7 can challenge, or will the newcomer be left behind by its high-tech rivals?

Connor Esberger was an extremely good contact throughout my leasing process. Very responsive and helpful. I can't thank him enough. However, the process wasn't straight forward and it made it frustrating for myself and Connor. Unfortunately the vehicle was very late in being delivered with so many bumps along the way with the Portal system incorrect and misinformation being given by others. We got there in the end however and I am now delighted with my new vehicle. I will use Select Car Leasing again and hope that it will be smoother next time and that my delivery experience is out of the ordinary.

Excellent service by Charlie Cooper who made the whole experience very easy and slick. The car we wanted was already reserved so we started to look elsewhere but Charlie remained on the case and contacted us when the car became available again. Would definitely recommend.
