Toyota’s ‘Multi Terrain Select’ system automatically adjusts the vehicle settings to suit different driving conditions, helping to maintain optimum traction when the going gets tough.
Yet for all the Land Cruiser’s 4x4 prowess, Toyota also promises ‘modern day-to-day driving’ from its large SUV.
The purposeful exterior styling harks back to Land Cruisers from the past, with the classic TOYOTA logo displayed prominently at the front and rear of the SUV.
The cabin features a 12.3-inch touchscreen with cloud-based sat nav, a 14-speaker audio system from JBL, a surround-view camera and head-up display.
And with boot space of up to 620 litres, the Land Cruiser also scores well when it comes to practicality.
Rivals to the Toyota Land Cruiser include the Land Rover Defender, Jeep Wrangler, and Range Rover Sport.
