About the Mercedes-Benz A-Class
The A-Class began life as a compact people-carrier-shaped vehicle in 1997, but since 2011, it’s been shaped like a more conventional hatchback.
This gave it far more appeal to the masses, but it wasn't incredibly critically acclaimed despite selling in large numbers.
Then, in 2018, it had an overhaul that addressed all the criticisms.
As a result, there’s never been a better time to get your hands on an A-Class, which is sophisticated, well-equipped, handles well and is comfortable even on longer trips.
Of course, most Mercs are saloons or coupes, but with the A-Class being a hatchback, you’ve got a more accessible boot, too, making it a practical choice.
Why lease a Mercedes A-Class?
Since its significant shift in shape over a decade ago, the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has been a popular car.
It is not difficult to see why, with its attractive looks and classy interior – and a decent level of equipment, even at entry-level.
While it retains a family-friendly aesthetic, it has a mean frown at the front without looking excessively aggressive. Additionally, it has some stylish creases around the sides and shapely bodywork around the back, with a rear roof spoiler adding some extra personality.
All models come with front-wheel drive, and a selection of powertrains are available, all of which return decent fuel economy figures.
Although we're looking at the hatchback here, which is by far the most common model, if you would rather have a saloon, such a version is also offered.

With various trim levels available, even the entry-level model comes well-equipped, offering a wide range of choices to suit all palates and budgets.

Therefore, you could drive away in an A-Class from around as little as £375 a month.
