The McLaren 765LT sits at the head of the firm’s range, above the 720S and the Artura.
Compared with previous incarnations of the 765LT, this current version has less weight, more downforce, and more sophisticated aerodynamics for optimised handling.
This is, then, a lease car honed for the track but which McLaren says is also everyday-usable as well.
On the exterior you’ll find carbon fibre body panels, motorsport-inspired polycarbonate glazing, a titanium exhaust system and a light dual-spring suspension system.
Inside the cabin there’s custom-made carbon fibre detailing galore - but don’t expect an abundance of creature comforts. There’s no air conditioning. No carpets. And no audio system. It’s an uncompromising approach that has won plenty of admirers.
Instead everything has been stripped-back to save weight and to also enhance the sensation of ‘oneness’ between driver and machine.
