The MX-5 received an update in 2024, giving it sharper driving dynamics, new lights at the front and rear, and a larger 8.8-inch touchscreen in the cabin.

As of 2024, the most potent models now feature a sophisticated Asymmetric Limited Slip Differential, which improves traction and provides 'purer' handling, according to Mazda.
The sportiest trims also feature a dedicated ‘Track’ mode, which dials-down the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) to let you push the car’s limits before safety intervention kicks in.
Meanwhile the latest entry-level models feature sat nav, rear parking sensors, lane keep assist, and 16-inch alloys.
