Land Rover Range Rover Lease

The iconic Range Rover is Land Rover’s flagship SUV and promises ‘peerless refinement and luxury’, according to the British manufacturer. As accomplished off-road as it is on the highway, the Range Rover continues to set the benchmark that all other prestige SUVs are measured against.

Facelifted in 2022, the Range Rover sits at the very top of the firm’s model range, ahead of the Range Rover Sport and Velar, and it is available to lease with a standard or long wheelbase.

All-wheel-drive capabilities are par for the course on all Range Rovers, enabling it to tow up to 3,500kg, while also giving it the ability to wade up to depths of 900mm.

The Range Rover doesn’t just do effortless opulence, either, as it can also offer blistering performance. A supercharged 615 hp, 5.0 litre V8 engine is available, and which sees the Range Rover competing with the very quickest Porsche Cayenne.

Other rivals to the full-fat Range Rover include the BMW X7, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90, as well as electric vehicles like the Kia EV9.

Meanwhile recently-added plug-in hybrid - the P460e and P550e - and mild-hybrid powertrains offer excellent economy without compromising driving pleasure.

About the Range Rover

The Range Rover has been winning admiring glances since its first release way back in 1970.

And the latest model arrived in 2022, underpinned by a brand new platform that brought with it the option of seven seats for the first time.

With plenty of exterior styling tweaks over the outgoing model, the car's more rounded, smoothed-out shape has given it a new dimension of character.

The back also features a horizontal light bar which runs along the width of the boot, providing room for dynamic indicators.

Flush pop-out door handles add to appeal, accentuating the luxury of the vehicle, which unsurprisingly comes very well equipped and with a sophisticated and inviting interior.

With a braked towing capacity of up to 3,500kg, it’s also perfect as a workhorse for towing trailers and caravans.

Added to this, there’s a host of well-refined powertrains and two wheelbase sizes, so there are plenty of options on offer to create your perfect leasing deal.

Why lease a Range Rover?

The Range Rover has long been regarded as the ultimate SUV, even outstripping well-established rivals from as Audi and BMW.

Fuel economy concerns have also gone out of the window with the introduction of plug-in hybrid powertrains. At the same time, the petrol and diesel models still offer plenty of refinement if you prefer a more traditional means of propulsion.

The interior is gigantic, too, boasting one of the most luxurious cabins offered on any car outside of a Rolls Royce, including some niche features which are more suited to limousines for those who want to be driven rather than drive themselves.

But why wouldn’t you want to drive it? It handles well for such a large vehicle, with excellent performance levels, and now it's even better than ever.

Which Range Rover fuel type is right for me?

It is a difficult choice, as all the powertrains offered have their advantages.

Petrol

A 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine is offered, producing 400PS with some added mild-hybrid technology to help fuel economy, which measures in at 29mpg. At the same time, there's a mightier 530PS variant, a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, which manages 24mpg. More potent still is the 615 PS V8 engine which is available with range-topping ‘SV’ models.

Diesel

Two turbodiesels are available. Both are 3.0-litre V6 engines, with one producing 300PS and the other 350PS, including some mild-hybrid technology, averaging around 36mpg.

Hybrid

If lower taxation and fuel economy are of the utmost importance to you, there are two plug-in hybrid powertrains, also based on 3.0-litre V6 petrol engines but with an added boost from an electric motor, which provide power of up to 550 PS, as well as the potential to return up to 333mpg.

Which trim level should I lease?

There are many trim levels, some of which are only available with a particular wheelbase.

SE

SE
Range Rover SE models are available in standard wheelbase or as a long wheelbase 7-seater. You can expect a 13.1 inch touchscreen, 3D camera, all-wheel steering, and electronic air suspension.

HSE

HSE
The HSE trim can also be enjoyed with a standard or long wheelbase, and features larger 22 inch alloys, perforated Semi-Aniline leather seats, illuminated seat belt buckles, and a head-up display.

Autobiography

Autobiography

This takes luxury a stage further, adding a massage function to the front seats and fitting larger Executive Class rear seats, along with 10-inch screens to entertain those in the back of the Long Wheelbase version.

SV

SV

The ultimate in luxury adds privacy glass, 'hot stone' massage front seats, and gloss white ceramic controls. With LWB models there’s a fixed centre console in the rear, luxurious Executive Class Comfort-Plus seats and deployable tables – truly a car to be chauffeured in.

Range Rover Frequently Asked Questions

For a huge chunk of customers, the Range Rover is the default choice when it comes to a luxury vehicle. It has grace, style, incredible ability and a brand cachet that few outside of Bentley and Rolls-Royce can match. An all-new Range Rover was revealed at the end of 2021, which means it’s the latest, greatest large SUV on the market.

The Range Rover is the flagship car in Land Rover’s range, so it won’t be a surprise to you that such incredible luxury will cost you. But when it comes to monthly leasing rates, you’ll be delighted to hear that Select Car Leasing can offer you some of the most competitive rates and special offers in the country. That’s thanks to our market-leading links with the automotive industry. Check out the full list of Land Rover Range Rover lease deals to see which version best suits your needs and budget.

For more than 50 years, the Range Rover has blended luxury with Land Rover’s incredible history of off-road ability. With this latest model, the off-road credentials remain, but the luxury has been cranked up to new levels. As before, it offers lots of interior space and huge amounts of top-end technology. What’s new is the option of a plug-in hybrid model, alongside powerful petrol and diesel options, and the possibility of seven passengers rather than five. An electric version is also in the works, and we’re expecting that by 2024. A range of trim levels will suit different budgets, and the Range Rover comes in both standard and Long body styles, the latter basically an off-road limousine.

At the time of writing, the latest Range Rover hadn’t been tested by independent safety organisation Euro NCAP, which is the gold standard for benchmarking vehicle safety. However, Land Rover has a great history of maximum five-star scores with its cars, and we’d be very surprised if the Range Rover is any different. All models are loaded with some of the latest, greatest safety systems. When it comes to practicality, the sheer size of the Range Rover guarantees loads of interior space and comfort for five adults, or seven if you go for the long, seven-seater model. A huge 725-litre boot features in the standard and long models, and while that dips slightly if you have seven seats, it’s still pretty massive.

Range Rover splits its trim levels into four broad categories, within which you can choose engines and, on some models, sub trims. The standard Range Rover comes in SE and HSE forms, while the Autobiography adds more swank and features. The First Edition will be loaded with kit for early customers. On top of these, a range of ultra-luxurious Range Rover SV models have been announced. The regular SV is essentially a fully-loaded Range Rover with all the standard features. The SV Serenity will be the mega-luxurious opinion, with bronze exterior trim while the SV Intrepid will be more sporty, with a beefier look. The SV Signature Suite comes only in four-seat form, with a retractable table and champagne fridge in the back.
