Jaguar E-Pace Review
The E-Pace is arguably more attractive and proves that Jaguar is not just here to make up the numbers – it's serious about making significant strides in the SUV market.
The E-PACE represents the first compact SUV from Jaguar, sitting below the larger F-PACE in the range. And as one of the best-sellers in the Jaguar stable, a Jaguar E-Pace is a popular leasing choice thanks to its excellent range of features and class-leading technology.
With sharp exterior styling, a family focused interior and a powerful, dynamic range of engine choices there is lots to love about Jaguar's flagship compact SUV.

At the heart of the interior is a new 11.4-inch curved-glass HD touchscreen, which controls the fully-connected ‘Pivi Pro’ infotainment system
The E-PACE was also refreshed for 2021, and now features both efficient mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid models for the very first time.
The plug-in hybrid variant provides an all-electric range of 34 miles, it’ll return 141 miles to the gallon, and has combined CO2 emissions of just 44g/km - putting in the low Benefit in Kind tax bracket of just 11% for the 2021/22 year.
It’s also capable of a 0-80 per cent charge in as little as 30 minutes.
What’s more, Jaguar claims that thanks to a power output of some 309 PS, it’ll sprint from 0-62mph in just 6.1 seconds.
Jaguar E-Pace Lease is a chance to drive one of the most desirable SUVs going, sporting all the luxury features you’d expect from a modern Jaguar and wrapping them up in a well-designed SUV available at an affordable cost.

The latest E-Pace is a world away from what was, admittedly, a disappointing start to its presence in the Jaguar line-up. Today, the E-Pace is great fun to drive, available in several trim levels to veer more towards luxury or sportiness, and there’s a choice of punchy engines, including a plug-in hybrid model that promises up to 34 miles of electric-only driving from a single charge of its battery. A facelift in 2021 has also brought in an all-new infotainment system, and it’s the best Jaguar has ever done, with slick looks and lots of functionality. All this, and it’s spacious too.
The E-Pace was tested by Euro NCAP, an independent safety organisation, in 2017, and was awarded the maximum five-star score. Jaguar has continued to develop the car since then, and it now boasts an impressive array of standard safety features, with even more available on higher trim levels or as options. When it comes to practicality, there are rivals that have a bit more space in the rear and the boot, but the Jaguar isn’t bad at all. Two adults will have no issues getting the back, and there’s a good amount of luggage space in the boot. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models are available.
As well as the choice of several petrol and diesel engines, the E-Pace also boasts a plug-in hybrid model, and the choice of manual or automatic gearboxes, and front or all-wheel drive. Once you’ve decided which is for you, you’ve got an extensive range of trims to choose from. They’re broadly split into four categories, some of which have several sub-trim options. There’s the standard E-Pace, in S trim. Then there’s the sporty-looking R-Dynamic range, in S, SE and HSE trims, each with more features than the last. The R-Dynamic Black model has black styling elements inside and out (and lots of standard features), while the top-spec 300 Sport model has loads of kit and lots of power to match.
