The 500 Electric hatchback is powered by a 42 kWh battery that provides power of 118 hp. That’s enough to whisk the car from 0-62mph in just 9 seconds and on to a top speed of 92 mph.

The 500 Electric might be small in comparison with larger models in the Fiat range - including the 500X or the Panda- but you can still expect a 185 litre boot, which is larger than you get with the Honda e.
The base ‘Icon’ trim level features a 10.25 inch infotainment touchscreen with sat nav as well as 16 inch alloys and an eco-leather steering wheel.
Driver assistance and safety systems fitted as standard include lane keep assist and advanced emergency braking.
Meanwhile the more upmarket La Prima model adds larger alloy wheels, an uprated sound system and wireless mobile charging, among other extras.
The 500 Electric Hatchback also makes sense as a company car, falling into a low Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax bracket.

Voytek Kowalczyk in particular made this process really painless. I had quotes put out in the market to over a dozen brokers (for this company car lease). There was only one quote that came in cheaper than Select but it came eight days too late (after I signed the Select papers off). On detailed examination it turned out to be £97 cheaper over three years instead of the £535 that appeared initially. This is because even if their monthly charge was £15 cheaper, the initial payment was £428 higher - assuming zero interest acrual on the £428. Voytek is a great communicator and, though clearly busy, keep me posted on the progress. The experience so far has been great. Will return to this review when I renew in three years, to state how that has been.
