Vauxhall Combo Electric GS Review
It’s not faster, cheaper or more practical than the rest of the Vivaro Electric range, but the GS has a charm all of its own.
The Combo is Vauxhall’s most compact van, making it an affordable lease option for agile businesses that are constantly on the move.
And the battery-powered Vauxhall Combo Electric offers an even more tempting lease, providing emissions-free driving while helping to lower fuel bills.

Vauxhall describes its Combo van as ‘hard-working, rugged and practical’ - and this fully-electric variant is also eco-friendly and affordable to fuel.
The latest version of the Vauxhall Combo Electric is underpinned by a 52 kWh battery that unlocks a range of up to 213 miles between charges.
Rapid charging at up to 100 kW DC can replenish the energy in the battery from 0-80% in just 30 minutes.
Meanwhile the Combo Electric loses little on its diesel sibling when it comes to load-lugging capabilities, which you can read more about below.
The Combo Electric is available as either a regular panel van or five-seat crew van, and can also be leased in two different wheelbase lengths.
You can expect a payload of up to 781 kg (depending on the model), a 750 kg braked towing capacity, and up to 4.4 m3 of load volume - the latter of which is exactly the same as the traditionally-fuelled Vauxhall Combo.
While the Combo Electric shares its underpinnings with vans like the Citroen e-Berlingo and Peugeot e-Partner, it still boasts its own unique styling, particularly when you look at the striking Vauxhall ‘Vizor’ front end.
The e-Berlingo is the fully electric version of the regular Citroen Berlingo panel van, and gets a 171-mile range between charges and an 800 kg payload.

In simple terms, leasing is the single most cost-effective and hassle free method of driving a brand-new van, and with Select Van Leasing you can be sure that you are in safe hands.
Connor Esberger was an extremely good contact throughout my leasing process. Very responsive and helpful. I can't thank him enough. However, the process wasn't straight forward and it made it frustrating for myself and Connor. Unfortunately the vehicle was very late in being delivered with so many bumps along the way with the Portal system incorrect and misinformation being given by others. We got there in the end however and I am now delighted with my new vehicle. I will use Select Car Leasing again and hope that it will be smoother next time and that my delivery experience is out of the ordinary.
Great customer service
Excellent service by Charlie Cooper who made the whole experience very easy and slick. The car we wanted was already reserved so we started to look elsewhere but Charlie remained on the case and contacted us when the car became available again. Would definitely recommend.
