The DFSK EC35 is a battery-powered van that is, quite simply, one of the cheapest vehicles in its class. It’s available as either a panel van or crew cab.
The EC35 features a 39 kWh battery that unlocks a range of up to 166 miles between charges. Rapid charging will replenish the battery in around an hour, while using a regular wall box will restore the energy back to 80% in 6 hours.
In terms of load-carrying abilities, the EC35 has a generous 4.8 cubic metre load area and a maximum payload of 1,015 kg, which is accessible via the tailgate or the dual sliding side doors.
It means the DFSK EC35 rivals similarly-sized vans like the Citroen e-Berlingo, Peugeot e-Partner, Vauxhall Combo Electric, and the Toyota Proace City electric.
Despite the EC35 being budget-friendly, there are also plenty of creature comforts in the cabin, including reversing sensors and a reversing camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a DAB radio.
